Robert O. Kuehn is the senior partner at the law firm of Williston, McGibbon & Kuehn with offices in Barrington, Illinois. Mr. Kuehn has practiced law in the Chicago area since receiving his J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law in 1969. He received a B.A. degree from North Park College in 1966. Mr. Kuehn concentrates his practice in all phases of trust and estate work, with special interest in advanced planning techniques, estate planning for business executives and family business owners. He has counseled professional fiduciaries in the administration of estates and trusts as well as business owners and charitable organizations. Mr. Kuehn has prepared numerous Federal Estate Tax returns involving a variety of tax issues including valuation discounts. Mr. Kuehn also has a very active commercial and residential real estate practice. Robert O. Kuehn is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association and Chicago Bar Association. As acting vice chairman of the Board of Governor’s for Chicago Shriners Hospitals for Children, Mr. Kuehn plays a vital role in the operations of a hospital with an annual budget in excess of twenty-five million dollars. He and his wife live in Chicago’s northwestern suburbs and are very active with their three children and three grandchildren. |

William R. Kuehn is a partner in the firm of Williston, McGibbon & Kuehn, a northwestern suburban law firm with offices in Barrington, Illinois. Mr. Kuehn focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, estate and trust litigation, business planning, and residential and commercial real estate. He received his L.L.M. with honors form the John Marshall Law School in 2003, his certificate in estate planning from the John Marshall Law School in 2003, his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1995, and his B.A. in History from Dartmouth College in 1992. William R. Kuehn has broad expertise in: · Counseling clients with their estates and businesses. · Drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, operating agreements, buy-sell agreements, partnership agreements, and other estate and business planning documents. · Preparation of state and federal gift and estate tax returns and fiduciary income tax returns. · Representation of individual and corporate fiduciaries. · Negotiating and drafting real estate contracts for the sale of commercial and residential real estate and §1031 exchanges. · Litigation in Probate and Chancery Divisions of the Circuit Court. Mr. Kuehn has planned and assisted in the administration of estates involving assets valued in excess of twenty-five million dollars and has successfully handled will and trust construction cases, contests of trust agreements, estate and gift tax matters and other types of estate and trust cases. As an associate member of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Trust and Estate Section Council, Mr. Kuehn has had the opportunity to comment on the drafting of new statutes in Illinois that effect estates and trusts. Mr. Kuehn is also a member of the Northwest Suburban Estate Planning Council, the Northwest Suburban Bar Association Estate Planning Committee, the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Northwest Suburban Bar Association and the Chicago Bar Association William R. Kuehn is an Associate Member of the Governors for the Shriners Hospitals for Children in Chicago. He resides with his wife and his two young children in Chicago’s Northwest Suburbs. |
