While our firm handles a wide range of legal
matters, the following is a list of the areas we concentrate our practice:
Estate Planning
Drafting wills, trusts and powers of attorney
are just the beginning. We primarily plan for multi-million dollar
estates. These estates many times include the analysis of and actual use
of irrevocable gift trusts, family limited partnerships and charitable trusts
where appropriate. We also plan for nontaxable estates, for people
concerned about guardians and for clients concerned with medic-aid issues.
Estate and Trust Administration
We represent individual and professional
fiduciaries in all of their potential capacities. We assist in the
preparation of all tax filing and court filing necessary for the proper
administration of an estate. These services also include domestic and
foreign adoptions and guardianships.
Estate Trust and Litigation
We have counseled our clients through trust
construction cases, trust reformation cases and will and trust contests.
We have also handled contested claims in probate administration.
Taxation
We prepare federal and state estate tax
returns. We also prepare federal gifts tax returns and fiduciary income
tax returns.
Commercial Real Estate Transactions
From before contract to after closing we
represent our clients in all areas they request, including due diligence issues,
zoning issues and environmental issues. We also provide representation in
1031 exchanges.
Residential Real Estate
Transactions
From before contract to after closing we
represent our clients who are broker represented or selling by owner. Our
services include an attorney contract review, attempting to resolve any attorney
review issues, attempting to resolve any inspection issues and attempting to
resolve any title issues.
Business
Practice
Business clients starting a new business,
ongoing business owners looking for a new attorney or never had an attorney, -we
would be able to assist you in setting up your business plan. We draft
corporate buy sell agreements, limited liability operating agreements, purchase
agreements and sale agreements. We also act as registered agent and
prepare state annual reports.
Other
Over the years we have developed relationships
with other attorneys. Our referral attorneys concentrate their practices
in personal injury, employment law, family law and bankruptcy law. We can
always provide our clients with quality referrals whenever necessary.
